My PLN

The PLN I attended this semester to improve my teaching practice was the Smart Board professional development day. This workshop was a full day of learning about the Smart Board technology and how you could use it in the classroom. I learned how to create presentations with multiple effects that make learning fun and inclusive for students. I feel like incorporating the Smart Board into my classroom can make learning more hands on and interesting for students. There are endless possibilities of things you could do with Smart Board technology in the classroom.

I chose to attend this Smart Board professional development day to improve my knowledge about the technology. I want to be able to use this technology in my teaching practice because I have observed this technology in other classrooms and it is an amazing classroom tool. I want to be able to use this technology in my classroom to better my teaching ability and make my lessons more engaging. I think it is important that teachers are familiar with this technology as Smart Boards are becoming more common in schools and teacher should know how to use them. I feel like if teachers know and use this technology it can change aspects of education.
